Social distancing is a good thing. Beyond the obvious of keeping COVID-19 from spreading, it offers us all the time to stop and refocus. Simultaneously. Photographers tend to be solitary creatures, immersed with their camera in their bubble focused, but out of focus, even when we are physically in a group we are apart. Yet, during this bubble of distance, we are engaging more with each other. Every day there have been assignments – twirling, black and white, things that are old. Today’s task is “tiny planets”, which struck me in particular as that is what we actually are. We aren’t going on group adventures during this time, but we are still together. Fellow tiny planets, stay safe and keep in touch.
